José Clemente Orozco (born Nov. 23, , Ciudad Guzmán, Mex.—died Sept. 7, , Mexico City) was a Mexican painter, considered the most important 20th-century muralist to work in fresco. Orozco first became interested in art in , when his family moved to Mexico City.
